Make | 12×12 Layout – Sunday Brunch

12x12 Scrapbook Layout | "Sunday Brunch" | Blackbird Darlin

For those of you still mourning the loss of Scenic Route, this layout might be too painful to look at right now. Not only did I dig pretty far into my stash for this one, it was Halloween themed paper to boot.

Well, the B side of the themed paper at least.

I found the camera themed washi tape at Michael’s, but I’ve found Etsy to be a good source for this latest addiction. Seattle is pretty lacking in paper craft supplies (and I don’t own a car anymore), so almost everything is bought online these days. Quickutz Metro classic alphabet for the title, and my (NEW! PINK!) Dymo label maker to make up the captions.

My favorite part about this layout? No cropping! One 4X6 print and four 3×3 border prints = BOOM. Done.

Make | 6×6 Layout – Seine Side

I’m not a 6×6 scrapbooker. So, I’m not really sure what happened here.

An adorable polka dot paper from Teresa Collins Far and Away 6×6 pad, and an experimental 3×4 polaroid print (my camera just became a not-so-Instamax!) resulted in this. I mounted the pic with kraft photo corners, added a short border using the Fiskars Threading Water punch, and then date stamp and handwriting with a Sharpie on the white picture border to finish it off. YAY!

Since I don’t really have an album to put this in right now, I decided to paint an 8×8 block of wood with white acrylic paint, Super Glue a bulldog clip on the top (all found at my local Blick store), and use it to display little pages like this when I’m in the mood to scrap a pic or two, but don’t want to commit to a 12×12.

Fun and easy!

Make | 12×12 Layout – Noted

12x12 Scrapbook Layout | "Noted | Blackbird Darlin

And now for something completely different…a scrapbook page! I know right?! What is going on in here, pure craziness, I tells ya.

I’ve had that black 7 Gypsies envelope in my stash for about 537 years now. It finally got used, and man, that makes me happy. I dare you to go do the same.

You probably already guessed its function – to hold the actual notes that Manfriend left for me that are pictured on this page. AWWWWWW
