AW YIPES, I’ve been gone awhile, huh?! I mistakenly thought that I would blog while on the go during some recent back-to-back trips, but that obviously didn’t happen. Oof.
But here I am, so off we go then!
I have stacks of books in several areas in my apartment, so this Silhouette shape was a must-have for me. Since I’m still a bit of a newb with using my Cameo, I totally forgot to write down how big I made this die-cut as a reference for you guys – this is a standard 4.25×5.5 card though, so it’s somewhere in those dimensions at least!
If I’m using multiple papers for one die cut, I like using the Ungroup feature in the Silhouette software so that I can have it cut out pieces of the die I want to cut instead of the entire thing each time. It was still a little bit too plain though, so I drew around the edges of the book pages and teacup with a pen, and added steam coming from the cup just for funsies.
Yay to being back home with my stacks of books…and craft supplies! Naturally.
Supplies Used: die-cut (Silhouette Stack of Books), patterned paper (Carta Bella So Noted 6×6 paper pad) sticker (Carta Bella Hello Again elements), cardstock (Bazzill), pen (Micron 005)
