Welcome to the third and final installment of This DC Trip Happened In November But I’m Posting It Months Later!
We had time to sneak in a visit to the Smithsonian Museum of American History while touring the National Mall. Oooooo, you guys, this place was full of neat! I LOVE CUTE OLD THINGS
I was distracted by this dress and now can’t remember the story of it, but isn’t it fabulous even without the story?! Oh, and please no jokes about “cute old things” being this picture of me. I was standing at the fake bus stop in the automotive history section of the museum. I like to think that everybody in the 60’s posed this way in natural life settings.
Maybe I’ve been watching too much Audrey Hepburn lately.
Anyhoo, moving on…
ALL I’M SAYING IS WHY DOESN’T EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD LOOK LIKE THIS STOVE
That gas pump would look great in my apartment but also would not make any sense. Also, that whole lead thing.
I’m officially going to start stalking used bookstores for the above. Motor Maids especially, they look more fun.
What a blast of an extended weekend that was. Next adventure scheduled…Tofino, Vancouver Island! Apparently, the thing to do there in Winter is to watch storms. We shall see, eh?
